The Force binds all things, flows through them, even here. A Jedi would try to empty themselves of emotion to connect with the Force, but the Sith arrive at that point coming the opposite way. They BURN with emotion, feel so strongly that all else in the mind quiets. The trick is to burn without being consumed.

Sith training on Korriban kills most, breaks even those who survive in many different ways. A great and terrible Determination that she MUST make things better was all that allowed Ibani to reconcile what she needed to do to survive with her own moral compass. Her passion BURNS like a flare in the darkness, her awareness of the Force strong and true. The Force will show her what she needs to know.
